Richard has extensive experience advising on pensions on divorce cases in Scotland. He presented at the Family Law Association Conference in St Andrews in November 2025 and has received repeat instructions from leading Scottish firms.
As a Fellow, he holds the highest level of qualification attainable with Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. He also sat on the Pensions Advisory Group (PAG) and chaired the pension experts subcommittee. Whilst PAG's work focuses on England & Wales, there are many aspects that are relevant to Scottish cases.
