We are now starting to see CEs on updated factors including Teachers, Police and NHS.

Further factors in relation to early and late retirements have been published by the GAD for Firefighters’, Local Government and Police Pension Schemes, but not so far for the other public sector schemes. Now that these factors have been published, we are able to take them into account within our calculations.

Serious issues in the administration of the Civil Service Pensions Schemes have been recognised since the start of the year.  A Task Force was established and it continues to publish regular updates on the administration recovery plan as the new administrator works through the backlog. The change in GAD factors is being addressed within this wider project and may be expected to take longer than for other public sector schemes. The updates are available here: Recovery Plan Updates
